Batam Trip// short getaway

Warning: This post is gna be pretty lengthy  :)
--
I'm back from a 3D2N short short short getaway with Jocelin & Alan to Batam, Indonesia. We didn't have an itinerary and just planned everything last minute (except for all the bookings which are necessary), because it was intended to be a R&R getaway. So for the transportation wise; we booked our ferry tickets online via batamfast, from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Nongsa Ferry Terminal. The tickets are priced $46 to and fro. Simply just print the boarding tickets online and you're ready to go.
Choppy waters, the journey there was a little bit unbearable. DDDDDDDDD:
Upon arrival at Nongsa Ferry Terminal, we had to fill up the immigration form. We learnt from the locals that we could actually get the hotel to fill it up for us (or smthg like that) so that it would be easier for us when we arrive at Batam the next time. Not very sure what he meant though..
So anyway, there was land transfer upon every ferry arrival to (most of the) resorts in Batam, which includes Montigo Resorts, Batam View Beach Resort, Turi Beach Resort, etc etc. The resort we've booked online is Batam View Beach Resort 1 Bedroom villa (with one extra bed. Extra beds are avail @ $40sgd/night with breakfast.)
Checking in the resort was swift, probably because we are the only guests from the terminal at that time. & on the buggy we go to our villa!
Buggy service is available for villa guests as the villa is a distance away from the lobby area.
I won't believe this view when I was outside the villa. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL.
Outside 2 villas/ in between, idk.
When you step in, this is the small kitchenette. Pots, pans, plates, cutlery are all available.
The living room. If I were to open up the day curtains, I will be seeing sea. Best. View. Ever.
The bedroom, so lucky we managed to caught this before the extra bed were placed in. Heh.
The toilet, which was very spacious. Beside the shower area is the bathtub which is like a square hole...

The balcony area. Can you imagine below the platform is sea alr?!?!
I could wake up to this scene everyday.
Oh I forgot to mention, for those who can't leave without internet, the downside about the villa/ rooms in the resort is that wifi is only available in the lobby. dang dang dang.
Settled down a bit and booked a taxi to Nagoya. Taxi is available for guests. 2 way to Nagoya cost about $338k ruppiah, and the driver will wait about 3-4 hours before driving guests back to the hotel.
@ Nagoya Hill shopping centre, pretty self explanatory. I was so happy cause I managed to try the real authentic A&W rootbeer float. Yay.
We didn't have much time after lunch so we had one hour massage outside Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre/ Sakura Massage (smth like that, don't quite rmbr). The price is definitely cheaper than hotel/ Sg, like about $20 sgd per hour? After massage, the taxi uncle drove us back to the hotel.

We went back to the villa to catch sunset, watched a part of movie before heading out for dinner @ the hotel's restaurant, Kelong Seafood Restaurant, for seafood. We had one prawn omelette, one plate of fried beehoon, one plate of stir fried baby kailan, (2) chilli crabs of 800gm, 6 mantous, one plate of salted egg prawn, and one jug of lemon juice with aloe vera bits for about sgd $30/pax. It was the crabs which is more pricey, so if you guys want a cheaper dinner, you may skip the crab. :)

um... I was wearing a tube anyway. hahaha
The fried beehoon with um seafood/ mushroom.
 Salted egg prawn
Omelette with prawns
 Chilli crab
 Mantous
Baby kailan

We turned in quite early that day, arnd 11pm and woke up at 7am for breakfast.
Breakfast was quite bad, the only thing I enjoyed was prolly my orange juice. Heh. and peanut butter toast.
Batam View Beach Resort was renewing their contract for watersports so they were unavail at the moment we visited them, hence we took a taxi to Turi Beach Resort for the water sports activities. :)

Turi Beach Resort is definitely gorgeous, another resort worth considering.
We arrived at the resort at about 10 am and the sea was still low tide @ that moment, hence we went for snorkeling at an island away from the resort.

Fishes~

We snorkeled for about an hour plus and went back to the resort to swim. We have already booked our next activity for the afternoon/ high tide period; banana boat and Joc and Alan will go for para sailing aftermath.

We took the banana boat for 30 mins, too adventurous ah! We were directly under the sun and all of us ended up super burnt. :'''''( It was drizzling a little so the staffs advised us to do jetski instead of para sailing. Both of them definitely didn't regret the choice of changing to jetski!
By the end of the water sport activities we were so tired and burnt. DDDDDDD:

Took a cab back to our resort, changed up and went to Nagoya again for massage. It was raining super heavily and we took one hour to reach Nagoya! After a 2hr massage, another 45 mins of car ride again~~~ For supper, we took away some local food off the village when the driver drove passed the food stalls. :)

And of course the last day; some cam whoring sessions before checking out of the resort.

Level of cam whoring just got ultimate. hahahahaha

Enjoyed the htht about everything under the sun (maybe cause it's too sunny thr too anyway) with this fav 2. Concludes my short getaway before I start work on 05may.

Till then, xx
